Those who attended the memorable evening also went home with souvenirs in the form of faces of the participants sketched on cricket balls by caricature artists.
The final match proved to be an edge of the seat entertainer even as Shane Watson in top form managed an undefeated 117 runs and carried away the Man of the Match honour. Chennai Super Kings defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets and won their third IPL trophy.
